Mo’ Rangers. Mo’ problems.
Here’s some more insanity from the Super Megaforce brand. If you’re not aware, this group of Rangers pops their cell phones and action figures to access the powers of the Rangers of yester-year to wage war against an Armada of invading aliens.
Power Rangers Super Megaforce: Sky Strike includes five episodes…
“In the Driver’s Seat”
Trouble erupts on a world that is in a different dimension. Unafraid to dick around with quantum wormhole travel, the Rangers take off to investigate leaving the entire Earth realm undefended from a giant plastic talking toolbox monster.
“All Hail Prince Vekar”
The evil invaders unleashes his newest mega-weapon, The Armada Megazord, a gigantic robot packing enough firepower to set off three controlled pyrotechnic demonstrations in the middle of the desert.
“Vrak is Back, Part 1”
One of the Rangers’ most diabolical enemies, Vrak, returns after originally getting smitten by our heroes. He drops looking for a fight, while also undercutting his little brother’s claim to the throne. What throne is that, you may be asking? The big one.
“Vrak is Back, Part 2”
Vrak is such a hard-ass, he requires a two-part episode to properly be defeated. The Rangers realize they’re in deep, when Robo Knight shows up, reprogrammed by Vrak to be evil. Can the Rangers find a soul within the circuitry and titanium gonads of their synthetic friend?
The Armada’s big daddy shows up looking to exact brutal revenge on the uppity freedom-fighting teenagers for taking out his sons Vrak and Vekar. To take him down it will take courage, perseverance and…nah, it’s just going to take some laser blasting.
Have at it Ranger-istas. Not much to add beyond the perfunctory “115 minutes of eyeball abusing kiddo chopsocky,” but when has that never been the case? You might get a splitting headache, but there’s more than enough mayhem to keep your impressionable children hammering away at each other’s collarbones deep into the night.
